Young Chorale is a new choir that has started with an age range of 7 to 12. It is promoted by both Holy Trinity Church and St James’ Church, West Malvern and, although it is a choir that meets in church, it is a choir for the community. The Choir meets on Fridays from 6.00 to 6.45pm in Holy Trinity Church.

The Choir performs a good mix of music and there always new songs to learn as well as much that has been heard before. The Choir welcomes children from across the Malvern area, whether or not they have sung lots before. The main thing is to have a go, to learn and to enjoy the singing. After a period of initial rehearsing there will then be opportunities to sing at concerts, services and other events.

Charles Pavey conducts Young Chorale; he is an experienced teacher as well as being Holy Trinity’s Organist and Choirmaster. The Choir’s accompanist is Billy Colbourne, Holy Trinity’s Assistant Organist.
